ZMM talk about movies and other stuff
Ziggy and Moe have been friends for years, and ZMM officially set sail June 2018 after a plethora of funny conversations about movies while waiting for classes at the gym we frequent. We could say we are like oil and water when it comes to cinematic opinions, but that seems watered-down when we are more full-bodied; we're more or an oil and vinegar. We decided to start sharing our discussions in hopes to impart insight, spoilers, and laughter in a riotous way. Thanks for listening!
Being a homeschooled only child I watched a LOT of television, and while we were not well off, I saw my fair share of movies in the theater as well. I will live and die a sci-fi fanatic, and my parents frequently shared how I wouldn't watch Sesame Street or any children's television when I was an infant and toddler, it was only Dr. Who and Star Trek. I'm VERY easy to please, and because it's far too easy to turn off my brain, sometimes it's a scramble to find the on switch (but I do, so hands off my brain switch). I'm not critical, but this is why I like chatting with my pal, and much better sparring partner, Brian. Unlike in sparring with Brian in self-defense sessions, I can sometimes take a few victories in the movie arena. Shoutout to Team Z, everyone who loves mindless entertainment, defending the undefendable, and laughing loud and hard with zest and zeal.
Growing up in Portland in the 80's and 90's I got to see a lot of movies and watched a lot of television. I grew up to be an engineer which means I'm very analytical and I apply that to movies. Its fun to talk about a completely different view on what seems like every movie that comes out to make for great reviews and discussion about upcoming movies.
